Canan Berber

Canan Berber was born in Merzifon in 1967. After earning a degree in textile engineering from the Aegean University, she studied languages and art in London. From 1993 to 1997, she was involved in applied graphic design ateliers at the London City Lit Institute. When she returned to Istanbul, she took classes in design, color, and ceramics. With her unique style, Canan Berber uses mixed techniques and materials such as paper, glass, mirror, stone, wood, pearls, metal, acrylic paint and oil on canvas.
