Rita Muller

Sculptor

Rita Muller is a self-taught Swiss artist who has learned pottery techniques all over the world.
Born in 1944, she started making pottery with a wheel, and then created models of figures and animals. She is always on the look for new textures and effects on the surface that are close to natural material.
She uses sandstone and a variety of ovens at high temperature, wood, paper, electric ovens, pit fire, and raku technique. She lives and works in Geneva.
